Your library card is small, but it can do some pretty big things.
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and we’re celebrating all month long! Whether you’re getting your very first O’Fallon Public Library card or yours already has a permanent home in your wallet, there are plenty of ways to join the fun.
One Card. So Many Possibilities.
Books are just the beginning.
Your O’Fallon Public Library card gives you access to eBooks and audiobooks, online research tools, digital resources, and thousands of items to borrow from libraries throughout the region. Use it to place holds, renew materials, explore new interests, learn something new, or simply find your next great read.
And this September, using your library card comes with a few extra perks.

1. Get a Card. Get Some Goodies.
No library card yet? September is a great time to change that!
The first 100 people who register for a new O’Fallon Public Library card during Library Card Sign-Up Month will receive a small goodie bag along with their new card.

2. Show Off Your Library Pride
Already have a card? We’ve got something for you, too.
Stop by the Library during September and pick up a free yard sign, while supplies last.
Even better: the signs are double-sided, so you get to decide which message your neighborhood needs to see:

Put it in your yard, show off your library pride, and let everyone know there are library people in the neighborhood.
3. Use Your Card. You Could Win!
The best way to celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month? Use your library card!
Throughout September, use your card at least once and you’ll be eligible for our end-of-month prize drawing. Check something out at the Library, borrow an eBook or audiobook, place a hold, renew an item, log in to one of our online resources, or do anything else that puts your library card number to work.
At the end of the month, we’ll randomly select two winners—one adult and one child—to receive a special library prize pack!
No special entry form. No hoops to jump through. Just use your library card.

We offer more than just books and movies; our collection includes video games, fishing poles, seeds, telescopes, and so much more. Explore our growing range of items by stopping in or visiting us online.
Digital Library
O'Fallon Public Library cardholders have access to music, movies, audiobooks, newspapers, magazines, and ebooks through our digital services. As well as a wide collection of research databases and educational tools.
Interlibrary Loan
Having trouble finding an item? No problem! O'Fallon Public Library shares materials with 500+ libraries around the state. Together, those libraries have around 9 million items! If we don't have it, we'll get it for you.
